Short version: this site uses analytics to understand which pages people visit. No names, no personal details, nothing that identifies you. You're asked for consent before any tracking begins. If you decline, the site works exactly the same.

Who runs this site

Boxing Day Deals is run by Alex Bosier. If you have a privacy-related question or want to exercise your rights under UK GDPR, email hello@boxingdaydeals.co.uk. I'll respond within 30 days.

What data is collected

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to see which pages get visited, what kind of device was used, and roughly which country visitors come from. IP addresses are anonymised before storage. Nothing collected can identify you individually.

GA4 only runs after you've accepted cookies. If you decline or ignore the banner, no analytics data is collected from your visit.

Cookie consent

When you first visit, a consent banner gives you the choice to accept or decline analytics cookies. No features are locked behind acceptance — the site works fully either way.

You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

The consent banner is managed by Cookiebot. Their privacy policy is at cookiebot.com .

Affiliate links

Some links on this site go through an affiliate redirect (/go/[retailer]/). When you click one, you're taken straight to the retailer and I may earn a small commission if you buy something. The commission comes from the retailer — not you. No extra cost, no data shared with us beyond the click.

Your data on the retailer's site is governed by their own privacy policy. The full disclosure is on the About page.

Data retention

GA4 data is retained for 14 months, then automatically deleted. This is set explicitly in the GA4 account — it's not left at the platform default.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access data held about you
• Ask for it to be deleted
• Object to how it's being processed

Because we only collect anonymous aggregated data, it's not technically possible to pull out a single person's records. If you have any concern or request, email hello@boxingdaydeals.co.uk.

Changes to this policy

If anything here changes in a meaningful way, the date at the top will be updated. No surprises.
